#49 So it was a little more than three weeks

I said I'd update when I'd done my work (or at least implied that)

So yeah, work done, I got my grades I needed, and I'm going to Royal Holloway, infact, freshers is starting on the 21st of this month :P

I've got a few things to talk about really;
A couple of bumps for other people, one being a company that would like some advertising, a clanmate who wants to get his online pc building a boost, and the other being a dj friend of mine from Awesome Cougars (will be explained, dw) who has a new mix. And then ofc, the random crap I normally talk about ^^

So, since they asked first, the company who approached me (very nicely) to do some advertising for them, who I've kinda longed out for over 2 months. So here goes xD From what I can gather from having a quick scout through their site, they sell household goods, so like lights and other stuff, it all seems pretty reasonably priced too, so good if you want some new stuff for university. (see, worth the wait, now its timed for freshers :P) I'm also hosting a giveaway for them, so if you're interested in a £20 gift certificate for their store, just comment or email me letting me know =]

So now for the gamers out there, or people who want pc stuff, this next paragraph concerns you. Basically, this site is run by Ranger from Dystopia Rage Troops, which is a Dystopia clan I'm in, the builds he has up are solid, and decently priced. If I had a spare £5000 I'd so buy The Titan, with all the extras :P
But yeah, if you're looking for a new pc or something, I'd hit that up first to see if you can find it cheaper there than buying a prebuilt from a megacorp like Dell or HP xD
Oh, and yeah, you'll be needing this if you wanna go check that out =]

Have some Science-Dog to mix things up a bit ( ゚◡◡゚)

Now, the next one needs a little introduction, over the past few weeks, I've gotten into Dj'ing online at Awesome Cougars quite a lot, you might have seen me posting herp or derp links on facebook recently (click them when they're up btw, it normally means I'm dj'ing for the next hour or so ^^), I'll normally be spinning like dubstep, electro-house, fidget house, and stuff like that. So anway, this guy from Awesome Cougars, named NinjaBeast/Flatjack does some downright filthy mixes, and has recently done a back2back one with another guy named Wigwam, and tbh, it's awesome, starts off with Wigwam spinning some fidget, and then NinjaBeast dropping some dubstep, anywho, it's free! So y'know, you're welcome to hit it up ^^ Link is over at Richie's (Wigwam) blogspot, which is right hurr

Speaking of Dj'ing, I got hold of an sweet midi controller for me to muck about with when I stream, but it's taking its sweet ass time getting here due to various circumstances, but Emily should be bringing it tomorrow when she comes to say hi, so I'll have some actual buttons to Dj with :P Oh, and a pic of it, incase you're interested:

I've also moved into my new house! It's really close to Uni, which is cool, and I've got my room all set up now (pics inc, don't worry). I was on my own here for a couple of weeks, which was a little odd, but it was nice to actually have some alone time away from rushing about and stuff, one other person is moved in atm, with the rest coming like this Friday.

I will say one thing about the pics though, it makes my rool look hella small :P But its actually a decent size =]

I only bothered to take a pic of the one part of my room I care about btw :P

Anyway, this has taken me forever to write, I'm sure there'll be more updates what with uni starting on the 21st and stuff.

Hope its all going good for you guys.
Oh, and good luck at Uni if you're starting this term!

#48 Just a little note

Updates are gonna be sporadic for like the next three weeks, since I'm in my final stretch for college and I really need to get my grades so that I can go to Royal Holloway in September.

So I'll update when I can ^^

Pic unrelated, I'm not a horse.

But funny all the same.

#47 MCM expo, and other things

As some of you know, last weekend (29th-30th) was the MCM expo in London, I was stewarding there for the two days that it was on, aside from being immense fun, I met old friends (hey Bonnie!), and some cool new people (o/ Mai!)The Sunday however was a super trek for me, since I had work on Saturday from 9pm-1am, and then had to catch the 7.26 train in the morning so I could get there on time to start at 9am :P
I really can't be bothered to say what happened, and it's more fun this way, so here is my journey...in pictures; (with slight descriptions so you know what's happening)

Train, super early

Random long road to Met line station for fasterness

Finally got to the Metropolitan line station, was like a 10min walk :p
Also, I love how it's just like, randomly between some houses

Wembley Park, obviously xD

Finchley Road, where I changed to the Jubilee line

Finchley Road, where the train was long -_-

Was on this for like half an hour all the way to Canning Town

Where I caught this badman to Custom House

Those of you who went should recognise this
So yeah, I left my house at like 7am, and got there at about 5mins to 9

Not bad I guess lol.

Oh, and here's a (blurry) pic of the queueing hall on Saturday

As you can see, pretty damn full, and all of us stewards were very overworked :P
But over all, a really fun and rewarding experience, gonna do it again in October fo' shur'.

As for other stuff (as the title promises), umm, a random chan picture is gonna have to do, since I can't really think of anything else tbh.
So random funny picture it is, oh, and I do this like all the time lol

Have a good week or whatever!

#46 Its too damn hot!

Those of you who know me, know I hate hot weather, like, despise it.Guess what?!

Fuck you hot weather.Y'know what, I don't care that its good for BBQs, I don't care that it makes lying outside awesome.
You suck heat, and you make my computer hot, and me feel icky. Currently, I wish I had a car with A/C so I could just sit in it and waste petrol. 20°C is a fine enough level of hot for me, 17°C is a fine enough level of hot for me ffs, but it's like 25-26 atm, and that's just too much :/

I feel like I'm melting lol, and y'know what really really doesn't help, working in a kitchen. It's all up in the 30s in there, easily. You guys are all walking about like 'lalala nice and sunny' like this:

And I'm all like this:
(btw, that's titanium smelting, if you're interested)

On a good note though, I've got my times confirmed for being a steward at the London MCM expo (that's movie, games, anime and manga expo for those of you not in the know :P), and I'm really looking forward to that.
Deffo wearing board shorts though, and if this heat keeps up, then I thoroughly sympathise with cosplayers there, as they will be boiling to death in the heat.

For those of you going, I'll hopefully see you there ^^

And to finish, how 'bout a picture of the best lunch ever:If you don't like pokémon in lunch form, then you are freakish :P

Peace!

#45 You're frakking kidding right?

I almost can't believe it myself. Been a super long time, but then again, haven't really felt like doing one for a while, but now I do, so there :p And I'm sure people (whoever actually reads this now that I haven't updated for 7 months or something) would rather read something that I want to write as opposed to something I feel obligated to write, right? lol So, topics for the day are:
  1. My new job
  2. Big Booty Bitches (you'll see)
  3. Anything else I think of while writing
So, yeah, #1 first, new job. Well, I assume most of you (I refer to 'you' as a collective simply because I really don't know who is gonna read this) know that my stepdad acts as the bane of my life on regular occasions, this years hilarious in-house troll has been that I need two part time jobs, cause y'know, going to college and having one part time job isn't enough. Ok ok, so I'll freely admit that my job at Purcell isn't that regular, so I only work like 3 days a month or whatever, but this isn't about actual facts, I'm trying to make someone look bad :P

Back to the topic at hand.

So I got a new job, working in promotions for Bed, which is like this nightclub/cocktail bar in Watford. (have a couple pics, I think it looks awesome inside imo)Tbh, I thought promotions was gonna be, well, boring and lame, but it turns out that it's pretty damn sweet. Ok, so I am on the high street all night (9pm till 1am), but there are so many jokes things that happen, and watching drunk people is always fun ^^
*shameless plug incoming*
So if you happen to be up in Watford (UK peoples ofc), come say hi and I can get you free/money off entry, and queue jump you!
*finished plugging*

On to #2
Big Booty Bitches. Now this, is a YouTube video that I just can't stop watching 'cause it's so damn catchy.

'dat shiz is right here

Now what I really can't work out, is what I like most about it, is it the way the guy on the right dances? Or perhaps how the dude on left seems to be randomly shouting stuff, and then jumping about. Either way, I lol'd, hard.
I like it so much in fact, that I'm considering buying it when I get paid, I mean, it's only like $1 or something.

Now as for #3, I did think of something!

Happy Birthday Ylva!

And since I'm not in the country you can has a random /b/ picture.

I'd listen to him if I was you, he is a wizard after all :p

Peace peoples!

#43 Well it's been fucking ages tbh

Since I bothered to write a blog, and yeah, I know, I bet some of you have gone stir crazy since you've had none of my musings to ponder upon.

That'd be me, if I had a huge ego, and well, it's getting halfway there :P

So yeah, summer was pro, next episode-ing it up etc, and I haven't really found/made the time to write a blog, and I'm not gonna apologise, since I know that whether or not I write this blog really doesn't affect anyone profoundly (baww), it's more for my own benefit really.

I didn't do too badly in my A-levels, got AC, and I'm at West Herts for a year now doing an IT Practitioners Btec, had like a week (a week at west herts being 2.5 days, since that's all I have to go in), and it seems ok so far, nothing taxing. On the subject of institutionalised learning, I also seem to be loosing contact with friends like a bad rash (yeah, that makes sense :s), I mean, I haven't seen any of my friends from Queens since....well, since June, when school finished. I guess the only reason I did see them was because I was there everyday etc, figures I guess. And now people have gone off to Uni and whatnot, and I probably won't see them for a good year or so, by whichpoint they'll have forgotten all their old school friends and won't care or whatever, so it's an odd time to be not going off to Uni. Now that I think about it, I probably could have easily pwned 3 A-levels and got AAC or something, and I could be off to Uni already or in the next couple of days, but you know me, if I don't have to push myself, I won't lol, and my mum seems pretty down with me doing a year of college, so its all good. Tbh, I don't even know what I really want to do at Uni yet, or after, so maybe its better after all for me having a year out (well not out, but yeah).

During the summer, I went to Craig's house, and I d/lded so much Tv while I was there, I got;
  • Battlestar Galactica Season 1-4, including Miniseries and Original series (the 1978 one)
  • Dollhouse Season One (Bloody worth watching if you're a sci-fi or Wendon fan)
  • Farscape Season 1-4 and The Peacekeeper Wars (Wath them, now)
  • Legend of the Seeker Season One, cause I had to have some fantasy in there with all that sci-fi
  • (A Town Called)Eureka Season 1-2
So far, all I managed to watch is Farscape, and I remember watching it when I was growing up, and yeah, it still pwns, especially John's jacket/trench combo (do want), but those shows total to about 87gig lol, and I've only managed one of them, and Battlestar is like 4xbigger than Farscape, considering it has 1hr episodes, which will have to be watched sometime, I'm on Eureka atm, also a very good show, surprisingly funny for what it is.

Speaking of which, I should prolly go watch some.

Peace out people!
